Acceptable, antique, hardcover book with pictorial cover; book is clean, but showing severe wear including two bookplates from prior owners, the binding is shaken and has been reinforced, a prior owner's embossed blind stamp on the title page, age-toned and embrittled pages, several small tears and other light smudges and foxing; boards shows almost the entirety of the spine strip peeling away, a series of numbers written on the front panel near the start of the title, and heavy rubbing to the board edges (see photos); profusely illustrated by Richard Doyle and compiled by Andrew Lang; published 1884; purchaser signature confirmation may be required upon delivery.
