Very good hardcover book, no dust jacket, with very good pictorial boards; the book is clean, tight, square, and -- but for Maurice Sendak's inscription and SIGNATURE on the half title page (see photos) -- free of any markings showing lightly age-toned pages but otherwise showing only light additional evidence of having been previously gently read; pictorial boards show light rubbing and age-toning to the panels especially the back panel, and light shelf and edge wear with light bumping to the corners and spine ends (see photos) but otherwise remains in very good condition; published by Harper & Row 1965; profusely illustrated; purchaser signature may be required upon delivery.
